The NBA suspended Hedo Turkoglu for 20 games on Wednesday after he tested positive methenolone, which is an anabolic steroid.

Super pitanje da otvorimo diskusiju. Jel znate nesto o proceduti testiranja na stumulativne supstance?

Kao da sam negde procitao i cuo da se uzorci tesitraju samo na narkotike. Medjutim izgleda da je spektar mnogo veci.

Edit: Jos jedan stereotip o tome da se ne tesitraju na steroide. Steroidi su proglaseni ilegalnim jos 1999. godine. Ako je clanak na hoopedia.com tacan ovo je vec sigurno treca suspenzija za Turkogla zbog ilegalnih supstanci

If a player tests positive for steroids for the first time during Reasonable Cause Testing, First-Year Testing, or Veteran Testing, the player will be suspended for five games and will be required to enter the Anti-Drug Program. A second positive test for steroids will result in a ten-game suspension and the player’s re-entry into the program. A third (or any subsequent) positive test for steroids will result in a twenty-five game suspension and the player’s re-entry into the program

Any player who (i) tests positive for a SPED pursuant to Section 5 (Reasonable
Cause Testing), Section 6 (Random Testing), or Section 14 (Additional Bases for Testing), or (ii)
is adjudged by the Grievance Arbitrator pursuant to Section 5(e) above to have used or possessed
a SPED, shall suffer the following penalties:
